A'oodhu bikalimatillahit-tammaati min sharri ma khalaq.

I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Whoever stops at a place and says this, nothing will harm him until he departs from that place.

Bismillahil-ladhi la yadurru ma'asmihi shay'un fil-ardi wa la fis-sama'i wa huwas-Samee'ul-'Aleem.

In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing can harm on earth or in the heavens, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing. Whoever says this three times will not be afflicted by sudden calamity until the morning (if said in the evening) or until the evening (if said in the morning).

Abu Dawud 5088, At-Tirmidhi 3388

Allahumma inni a'oodhu bika minal-hammi wal-hazan, wa a'oodhu bika minal-'ajzi wal-kasal, wa a'oodhu bika minal-jubni wal-bukhl, wa a'oodhu bika min ghalabatid-dayni wa qahrir-rijal.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief, I seek refuge in You from inability and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and miserliness, and I seek refuge in You from the burden of debt and from being overpowered by men.

Sahih Al-Bukhari 6369

Allah is sufficient for me. There is no god but Him. I have placed my trust in Him, and He is the Lord of the Magnificent Throne. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Whoever says this seven times in the morning and evening, Allah will suffice him in whatever concerns him.

Abu Dawud 5081, Ibn As-Sunni

Allahumma inni a'oodhu bika min sharri ma 'amiltu wa min sharri ma lam a'mal.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done and from the evil of what I have not done. This comprehensive dua seeks protection from the consequences of one's own deeds and from evil that may come from elsewhere.

Sahih Muslim 2716
